In October 2025, in Geneva, the professional community adopted the International Non-Profit Accounting Standard (INPAS) — the first global financial reporting standard created by the NPO sector, for the NPO sector. This is more than just a methodological update; it is a clear signal of non-governmental organizations shifting toward a new model of maturity, built on unified rules and openness.
I am delighted to support INPAS, as I have always strived to contribute to the transparency of the non-profit sector by implementing systemic financial approaches.
As the Founder and President of the NGO Consult Hub Public Fund, CEO of Sen Group, and INPAS Country Champion for Kazakhstan, I see immense potential in this standard for our country. Years of experience in financial audit, grant management, and NGO development have convinced me that fragmented donor requirements and the lack of a unified methodology overburden teams and diminish trust in the sector. INPAS offers a comprehensive solution: a universal standard for the entire organization and a harmonized format for grant reporting.
At NGO Consult Hub, we have already begun adapting and promoting INPAS among Kazakhstani organizations. Our goal is to help domestic NGOs transition to international best practices while ensuring the implementation remains simple and practical.
Transparency is not a formality. It is the very foundation upon which relationships between society, donors, and the state are built. INPAS provides us with an effective tool to strengthen this foundation systematically.
