Behind Every Employee is a Family: Astana to Discuss How Employee Support Becomes Part of ESG Strategy

On October 9, a Collaboration Meetup by the NGO Consult Hub Public Foundation titled "Behind Every Employee is a Family" will be held in Astana for HR and ESG executives. Participants will discuss how employee and family support programs can function not just as a social initiative, but as an integral part of a company's ESG strategy.

Divorce, crises with teenagers, illness of a loved one, and the exhaustion of working parents are situations rarely visible in the office. However, they directly impact engagement, focus, and a person's decision to stay with the company.

Today, companies are paying increasing attention to employee well-being, psychological safety, and parental support. These areas fall under the social component of ESG and are increasingly included in corporate reporting. The challenge lies elsewhere: one-off trainings and perks are difficult to turn into a measurable result that can be shown in a report.

At the meeting, experts will demonstrate how to transform employee support into a systemic program with clear results and indicators for ESG reporting.

What to expect at the meeting

Participants will be presented with practical solutions for companies — ranging from parental support and burnout prevention to assisting families in difficult life situations. A dedicated discussion will focus on which GRI, ESRS, and ISO 45003 indicators can be linked to such programs.

Who is it for

The meeting is designed for HR and ESG executives, sustainability specialists, and corporate social policy professionals. Teams that attend as an HR + ESG duo from the same company will benefit the most, as the practical session is specifically tailored to this format.

After the meeting, participants will be eligible for a free 40-minute diagnostic consultation on their company's social programs and ESG indicators.
