The NGO Consult Hub public foundation continued its educational course on the digitalization of non-profit organizations with another practical lecture-workshop. This time, the topic was "ChatGPT, Claude, and Similar Tools for Grant Proposal Writing, and Widecobing.Participants learned about effective approaches to using modern AI tools for real-time grant proposal preparation. The lecture focused on the practical application of ChatGPT, Claude, and other similar tools in combination with a ready-made library of prompts.
The workshop's key focus areas are: How to correctly formulate prompts for generating narratives, logframes, budgets, and other sections of a grant proposal. A real-world analysis of the proposal writing process from scratch using AI. Best practices for working with long texts, structuring documents, and adapting content to the requirements of different donors. Additional tools for automating related tasks: preparing presentations, visuals, and reports. Participants were able to see how AI significantly accelerates routine processes that traditionally take NGO employees many days. Particular attention was paid to the quality of results, fact-checking, and ethical aspects of working with artificial intelligence.The event served as a useful practical complement to the NGO digitalization course. Such workshops help Kazakhstani civil society organizations master modern technologies and improve their competitiveness when preparing grant applications.
